Hotel in Samos, Doryssa Bay

Today's post regards a hotel that I have fallen head over heels in love with! I think it may have some of the most minimal yet luxurious rooms, I love that it is built in the style of a traditional village and that they have ensured that they used environmentally friendly products during construction. I feel the end result is quite lovely and would be perfectly suited to a couple planning their wedding in Greece or wanting to honeymoon somewhere very relaxing and private! The hotel is able to host events by their lovely pool or even right on the sandy beach, so a very exciting new idea for those looking for the ideal place to host their wedding reception!

Luxury Hotel in Rhodes

I have lived in Rhodes for most of my life and have visited most of the hotels on the island a few times, I am scarcely impressed, however the hotel, Spirit of the Knights, was a very pleasant surprise! Located in the heart of the Medieval city, as soon as you enter the courtyard you are captivated by the serene atmosphere, there is running water, chairs to relax in and a beautifully kept garden! The rooms are in a word, luxurious, beautifully restored to it's original glory, this hotel is really worth visiting, the beds, oh the beds, they look so comfortable I was really restraining myself from jumping on them and trying them out! Each of the six suites has it's own personal character and details that make it stand out, I really would be spoilt for choice if I had to choose a room, the great thing is that I wouldn't be dissappointed with any of the options! Really worth visiting if you want to spend time on Rhodes and steer clear of the hoards of tourists! Annie Aggelopoulou- Wedding Photographer

Annie is a special person, when I arrange for my clients to meet with her, they book her, full stop. She is incredibly calm, collected, elegant and extremely talented. She shoots in film only and is partial to black and white. The feel of her developed photographs have a vintage feel to them, some can be grainy, I simply love her! She is the photographer to choose if you want someone who will blend in to the background and simply do her job without anyone noticing her! I also think that a good wedding photographer must be a romantic at heart, and that she is, she can really capture the sentiment of your day, I think this is so important!

Antonis Giannelis- Wedding Photographer

Hi all, I have decided to post on my favourite wedding photographer's in Greece! Starting with Antonis, a loyal associate, a very kind man, eager to please, imaginative, creative, he is one of those photographer's who will loose track of time and end up with 5000 images of the wedding if I don't remind him that the couple might want to get a move on with their timeline! Antonis is an award winning member of the WPJA (Wedding photo journalist association) and I consider his work to be universally appealing with a good mix of reportage and posed shots! I am including some of my favourite images of his work below:
