Christmas Wedding Theme (White & Silver)

Happy Monday all,

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, with only 26 days to go until the big day, I have decided to do a Christmas wedding themed week, each day I will pull inspiration based on different color and themes that can be used as wedding inspiration (and decorating your home if you prefer).

Soooooo Cute!!!

I think this idea is so cool, I really like the idea as a save the date and it can certainly follow through the entire wedding, imagine having all guests fingerprints in your guestbook, having fingerprints on the wedding programmes, menus, seating cards, the possibilities are endless!

Fantastic shoes.....yet again!!!

We are going over to a favorite designer of mine, a Spanish company called Menbur, who create the most fabulous occasion and party shoes that I have seen in years, they are comfortable ( I own two pairs one of which I wore to my wedding, so I will testify to this), come in fabulous colors and are just a cut above the rest! The best part is the price, they retail from around 80-150 Euros, which is reasonable considering the alternatives out there!

My favourite is the midnight blue pair of peep toes at the top of the page, I think they would brighten up most outfits and black is very boring (although I must admit also very necessary).

Thank You Cards

I realised that I have never blogged or discussed thank you cards on this blog, I certainly believe that these are necessary and can be done really tastefully to show your appreciation to your guests who have honoured you with their presence at your wedding and usually adorned you with generous gifts!

Aren't these all lovely ideas? Think about asking your photographer to take some thank you images, create signs or draw your message in the sand, keep it light hearted but tasteful!! Alternatively you can choose an image that compliments the theme of your wedding, perhaps you could create a CD of music that played at your wedding to keep the memory of your wedding party fresh! You could incorporate a series of honeymoon images to let guests know where you went, again think of having a thank you sign with you for use in the images!

Wedding things I love

Hi all,

I am finally returning to quite regular blogging, and am showcasing a couple of ideas that I think you brides to be should know about:

First up is a centrepiece idea that is simple to put together and extremely effective, gather different wine glasses together, remove all the stckers and load with white or colourful tapered candles. I would suggest laying runners in burlap down the centre of the tables and I definitely think this would be more effective on oblong tables rather than circular ones.

The second idea is a little more DIY than this and takes a little more time to put together, paper chains made from natural paper that can be personalised, so you can have the bride's name on one piece, the groom's on the other and the wedding date on the third piece!

Royal Wedding Announcement

I am back from the long silence after having another great couple of weeks in the UK and just in time to hear the exciting news that Prince William will marry Kate Middleton in 2011, so the excitement of seeing the lead up to that will no doubt feature in the media almost daily!

It has of course got me thinking of the location, venue, styling, Ms. Middleton is a stylish woman with a fashion conscience, do you think this will shine through on the big day or will she adhere to the royal precident and follow in Diana's footsteps? Exciting times ahead I feel!

Contemporary Wedding Show @ London Excel

Another Update:

I am going to be attending the Contemporary Wedding Show on Friday the 5th of November in Excel, if anyone would like to meet with me and discuss their wedding plans, please email me and I will do my best to accommodate.

I will also be in London over the next week or so, so am available to meet potential clients during this time!

Back...but not for long!!!

Hi All,

I am back from the stunningly beautiful country that is Italy, all the towns, areas visited are like a museum, you just walk around gaping at the buildings, sitting in the squares and walking like never before!

I am off to London shortly but thought I would leave you with this divine arch that was on the blog greenweddingshoes today:
